Luxury Wedding in Cannes on the French Riviera
Cannes is one of those places that instantly brings to mind elegance, sunshine, and the French Riviera. It was here that we had the privilege of documenting Alicia & Denis' wedding day. Together with their closest family and friends, they celebrated an intimate wedding filled with calm, appreciation, and unforgettable moments—modern, luxurious, yet wonderfully relaxed.
From the very beginning of the day, during the getting ready at the JW Marriott Cannes, it was clear how thoughtfully every detail had been planned. The atmosphere was calm, focused, and full of anticipation. Alicia wore an elegant gown by Jarice Bridal, while Denis chose a classic white tuxedo. Together with their Louboutin shoes, the white floral design, and the beautifully curved dinner table, every element came together to create a timeless and elegant aesthetic that perfectly reflected the charm of the French Riviera.
Cannes gehört zu den Orten, die man sofort mit Eleganz, Sonne und der französischen Riviera verbindet. Genau hier durften wir Alicia & Denis an ihrem Hochzeitstag begleiten. Gemeinsam mit ihren engsten Menschen feierten sie eine intime Hochzeit voller Ruhe, Wertschätzung und ganz besonderer Momente – modern, exklusiv und dennoch wunderbar entspannt.
Schon beim Getting Ready im JW Marriott Cannes wurde deutlich, mit wie viel Blick auf das Detail die beiden ihren Tag geplant hatten. Die Atmosphäre war ruhig, konzentriert und voller Vorfreude. Alicia trug ein elegantes Kleid von Jarice Bridal, Denis einen weißen Smoking. Gemeinsam mit ihren Louboutin-Schuhen, der weißen Floristik und der geschwungenen Dinner-Tafel entstand ein zeitloses und elegantes Gesamtkonzept, das perfekt zur Côte d'Azur passte.
A CEREMONY BY THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA
Their outdoor ceremony at Stephanie Beach took place right by the Mediterranean Sea. The warm light shimmered across the water, palm trees framed the setting, and the coastline of Cannes stretched along the beach in both directions. The ceremony felt deeply personal and emotional, while remaining effortlessly light-hearted. Exactly how we would describe Alicia & Denis.
Afterwards, guests gathered for a champagne reception before making their way to lunch at the legendary Carlton Cannes. Family and friends spent a relaxed afternoon together before celebrating the cake cutting.
Die freie Trauung bei Stephanie Beach fand direkt am Mittelmeer statt. Das warme Licht spiegelte sich auf dem Wasser, Palmen rahmten die Kulisse ein und die Küste von Cannes zog sich links und rechts entlang des Strandes. Die Zeremonie war persönlich, emotional und gleichzeitig voller Leichtigkeit. Genau so, wie wir Alicia & Denis beschreiben würden.
Im Anschluss begann der Sektempfang, bevor es zum gemeinsamen Lunch in das legendäre Carlton Cannes ging. Dort verbrachten Familie und Freund*innen einen entspannten Nachmittag miteinander, bevor die Hochzeitstorte angeschnitten wurde.
THE FRENCH RIVIERA AS THE PERFECT BACKDROP
For the couple's portraits, we explored the surroundings of the JW Marriott and the iconic Boulevard de la Croisette. It was the perfect place to bring together everything we envisioned: the timeless elegance of Alicia & Denis combined with the sophisticated Mediterranean atmosphere of the French Riviera.
One of our favorite moments happened on the iconic blue chairs along the promenade. As we photographed Alicia & Denis, people walked past them, some hurried by so they wouldn't interrupt, others watched with curious smiles, while a few didn't even notice what was happening. In that moment, it truly felt as though the two of them were beginning to realize what this day meant.
One moment during dinner touched us in a very special way: Alicia & Denis had written a personal letter to every single guest. Watching their loved ones read those heartfelt words became one of the most emotional moments of the entire day.
As the evening slowly settled in, the Mediterranean changed from bright blue to the warm hues of dusk. Surrounded by their family and friends, Alicia & Denis ended the day exactly where it had begun—by the sea. An elegant, intimate, and deeply personal luxury wedding in Cannes that will stay with us for a long time.
Für das Shooting nutzten wir die Umgebung rund um das JW Marriott und die berühmte Boulevard de la Croisette. Dort konnten wir genau das Verbinden was wir wollten. Die zeitlose und hochwertige Eleganz von Alicia & Denis, mit dem mediterranen und exklusiven Gefühl der Côte d'Azur. Einer unserer Lieblingsmomente entstand auf den ikonischen blauen Stühlen an der Promenade. Während wir Alicia & Denis geshootet haben, sind die Menschen an den beiden vorbeigegangen, manche sind schnell vorbeilaufen um nicht zu stören, andere haben die beiden mit großen Augen angesehen und wieder andere haben gar nicht mitbekommen was passiert. Genau in diesem Moment hatte man das Gefühl, die beiden realisieren was heute für ein tag ist.
Besonders berührt hat uns ein Moment während des Dinners: Alicia & Denis hatten jeder einzelnen Person einen persönlichen Brief geschrieben. Zu beobachten, wie ihre Gäste diese Worte lasen, war einer der emotionalsten Augenblicke des gesamten Tages. Als der Abend langsam anbrach, wechselte die Farbe des Mittelmeers von hellem Blau zu den warmen Tönen der Dämmerung. Gemeinsam mit ihren Familien und Freund*innen ließen Alicia & Denis den Tag dort ausklingen, wo er begonnen hatte: direkt am Meer. Eine elegante, intime und außergewöhnlich persönliche Luxury Wedding in Cannes, die uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird.
