When we set off on our journey to California in October 2025, the excitement was palpable. Not only for the Winchester Estate in Meadow Vista, but above all for Maya & Zack and their wedding day. From the very first moments on site, it was clear: this wedding would be high-end, elegant, and at the same time incredibly warm and heartfelt. Maya & Zack complement each other in a truly special way. Zack is calm, thoughtful, and witty; Maya is open, joyful, and warm—without ever being loud. Both share a strong sense of aesthetics and atmosphere. This was reflected in every detail of the day: classic, elegant, timeless, yet still cozy and inviting.
Als wir im Oktober 2025 unsere Reise nach Kalifornien antraten, war die Aufregung förmlich spürbar. Nicht nur für das Winchester Estate in Meadow Vista, sondern vor allem für Maya & Zack und ihren großen Tag. Vom ersten Moment an war klar: Diese Hochzeit würde elegant, hochklassig und gleichzeitig unglaublich warm und herzlich werden. Maya & Zack ergänzen sich auf eine ganz besondere Weise. Zack ist ruhig, nachdenklich und humorvoll; Maya ist offen, fröhlich und warm – ohne je laut zu sein. Beide teilen ein starkes Gefühl für Ästhetik und Atmosphäre. Das spiegelte sich in jedem Detail des Tages wider: klassisch, elegant, zeitlos und dennoch gemütlich und einladend.
Getting Ready: Calm Before the Storm
The getting ready was intentionally designed to allow space for calm and closeness. Despite the noticeable excitement, the atmosphere was lively, emotional, and deeply friendly.
Das Getting Ready war bewusst so gestaltet, dass es Raum für Ruhe und Nähe ließ. Trotz der spürbaren Aufregung war die Atmosphäre lebendig, emotional und tief freundschaftlich.
The Ceremony: Emotional and Personal
As we later accompanied the two to their outdoor ceremony, a special tension filled the air. The ceremony was led by a long-time friend of the couple—personal, honest, and full of emotion. The entrance of Zack with his mother, Zack’s brother with their grandmother, and finally Maya accompanied by her parents created countless goosebump moments. The vows were loving, humorous, and deeply moving.
Als wir die beiden später zu ihrer Outdoor-Zeremonie begleiteten, lag eine besondere Spannung in der Luft. Die Zeremonie wurde von einem langjährigen Freund des Paares geführt – persönlich, ehrlich und voller Emotionen. Der Einzug von Zack mit seiner Mutter, Zacks Bruder mit ihrer Großmutter und schließlich Maya, begleitet von ihren Eltern, schuf zahllose Gänsehautmomente. Die Gelübde waren liebevoll, humorvoll und zutiefst bewegend.
The Surrounding Nature: A Cinematic Atmosphere
The nature surrounding the Winchester Estate played a unique role on this October day. Dense fog drifted heavily through the surrounding forests, the colors had already turned autumnal, and the light was soft and muted. This atmosphere gave the wedding an almost cinematic depth—calm, elegant, and extraordinary.
Die Natur rund um das Winchester Estate spielte an diesem Oktobertag eine ganz besondere Rolle. Dichter Nebel zog schwer durch die umliegenden Wälder, die Farben hatten sich bereits herbstlich verfärbt, und das Licht war weich und gedämpft. Diese Atmosphäre verlieh der Hochzeit eine fast filmische Tiefe – ruhig, elegant und außergewöhnlich.
The Afternoon: A First Dance to Remember
In the afternoon, the bridal party made their entrance, followed immediately by an emotional first dance. Heartfelt speeches from family and friends then guided the transition into dinner. Afterward, things got loud, wild, and exuberant. A joint dance of all couples opened the party, which seamlessly flowed into an unforgettable night—featuring old-school hip hop, college punk, ABBA, and live saxophone.
Am Nachmittag betrat die Brautgesellschaft die Bühne, gefolgt von einem emotionalen ersten Tanz. Herzlich gehaltene Reden von Familie und Freunden leiteten den Übergang zum Abendessen ein. Danach wurde es laut, wild und ausgelassen. Ein gemeinsamer Tanz aller Paare eröffnete die Party, die sich nahtlos zu einer unvergesslichen Nacht fortsetzte – mit Old-School-Hip-Hop, College-Punk, ABBA und live gespieltem Saxophon.
A special wedding weekend in Bretagne
One moment in particular remains etched in our memory: Maya & Zack kissing in front of the large “The Taylors” backdrop—modern, classy, with a wink. And finally, their exit beneath thousands of soap bubbles.
