Italian Summer Wedding in Rome
In August 2026, Selina & Jamie headed to Rome. Together with around 65 guests, they spent an entire weekend celebrating at Casale del Gallo, a country estate just outside Rome, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, pine trees and cypresses.
Im August 2026 ging es für Selina & Jamie nach Rom. Gemeinsam mit rund 65 Gäst*innen feierten die beiden ein ganzes Wochenende im Casale del Gallo, einem Landhaus vor den Toren Roms, umgeben von Weinbergen, Olivenhainen, Pinien und Zypressen.
A Pizza Evening At Casale Del Gallo
The weekend kicked off on Friday with a relaxed pizza night under the open sky. The pizzas were prepared fresh on site in the oven, while Selina gave a speech and the first few hours of their weekend together slowly began to unfold.
Am Freitag begann das Wochenende mit einem entspannten Pizzaabend unter freiem Himmel. Die Pizza wurde direkt vor Ort im Ofen zubereitet, während Selina eine Rede hielt und langsam die ersten Stunden des gemeinsamen Wochenendes begannen.
Getting Ready in Rome
Saturday started right at Casale del Gallo. Jamie got ready with his friends, while Selina spent the morning with her sister and parents. Most things were already prepared, but the morning never felt rushed or overly scheduled. That balance between being well organised and still keeping things relaxed carried through the entire day.
Selina wore a patterned dress by Lieben Achten Ehren, paired with a cape featuring statement sleeves. Jamie opted for a rosé-coloured suit. Even the smaller details, like his floral boutonnière, picked up on the pattern of Selina’s dress.
Am Samstag startete der Tag direkt am Casale del Gallo. Jamie bereitete sich mit seinen Freund*innen vor, Selina mit ihrer Schwester und ihren Eltern. Vieles war bereits vorbereitet, trotzdem fühlte sich der Morgen nicht durchgetaktet an. Genau diese Mischung zog sich durch den gesamten Tag.
Selina trug ein Kleid von Lieben Achten Ehren mit auffälligem Muster und einem Cape mit besonderen Ärmeln. Jamie entschied sich für einen roséfarbenen Anzug. Auch kleine Details wie sein floraler Anstecker griffen das Muster von Selinas Kleid wieder auf.
A Summer Wedding In Italy
The outdoor ceremony took place in the area behind Casale Sant’Antonio, overlooking the Roman countryside. Jamie made his entrance to bagpipe music before the two exchanged their personal vows.
Afterwards, it was straight into aperitivo and, later, an al fresco dinner. The long table set between Casale San Carlo and Sant’Antonio echoed the surrounding landscape while keeping the styling intentionally understated. The location already brings plenty of atmosphere on its own; subtle pops of colour and the floral arrangements completed the overall look.
Die freie Trauung fand auf der Fläche hinter Casale Sant’Antonio statt, mit Blick über die römische Landschaft. Jamie zog zu Dudelsackmusik ein, bevor die beiden ihre persönlichen Vows miteinander teilten.
Danach ging es direkt in den Aperitivo und später zum Dinner unter freiem Himmel. Die lange Tafel zwischen Casale San Carlo und Sant’Antonio griff die Umgebung auf und blieb dabei bewusst reduziert. Die Location selbst bringt bereits viel Atmosphäre mit; einzelne Farbakzente und die Floristik ergänzten das Konzept.
From Dinner To The Pool
After dinner, the party moved to the pool. Ice cream, the first dance and the first few rounds of dancing eventually blended into one another. And honestly, it always felt like it was only a matter of time before the pool became part of the party, too.
By the end of the night, Selina, Jamie and their guests had actually ended up in the water. A pretty perfect ending to a weekend that was, above all: Italian, relaxed, elegant, happy and personal.
Nach dem Dinner wechselte der Abend an den Pool. Eis, der First Dance und die ersten Tänze gingen schließlich nahtlos ineinander über. Dass der Pool irgendwann Teil der Party werden würde, schien dabei ohnehin nur eine Frage der Zeit zu sein.
Am Ende landeten Selina, Jamie und ihre Gäst*innen tatsächlich im Wasser. Ein ziemlich passender Abschluss für ein Wochenende, das vor allem eines war: Italian, relaxed, elegant, happy and personal.
